The ShilohZone web site is an evolution of the ShilohZone Chat Group on Yahoo. We started the Zone six years ago as a way to bring Shiloh Shepherd enthusiasts together to share stories and find answers and support for issues.

Today the Zone’s primary goal is education, and it provides potential buyers with accurate and honest information about our breed. Over the years the ShilohZone has become the place to turn to when you want to see data and find facts.

The SZ World Class Breeders, World Class Puppies (WC) Program™ developed out of over six years of studying data on the Shiloh Shepherd breed and determining that some proponents of this breed wanted more from it and from themselves. A small group of us came together to pool our knowledge and talents and together we created a vision for the kind of puppies and dogs we wanted to own in the future.

Then we developed a roadmap of how we planned to “get there.” In the short time that we have been working together we have opened our membership up to other breeds. Essentially we target developing breeders—people who share our values and beliefs regarding the breeding process from selecting breeding pairs to raising puppies and everything in between. We work as a team to assess pairings, discuss state-of-the-art puppy raising techniques, share data, and research all aspects of breeding better dogs. The WC works in partnership with the Zone and together they continue to find ways to improve breeding programs, raise puppies, deal with issues, and provide assistance to people looking for puppies.
